At Risk: Protecting Women’s Health During a Time of Uncertainty

Contributing to the week’s focus on Women’s Rights (check out the Nov 16th YaleWomen’s Panel Discussion), YANA hosted Dr. Claire Brindis, who will speak on the mounting threats to women’s access to health care.

Claire Brindis, DrPH is a national leader in public health with influence as a policy advisor to federal, state, and local health care officials. She has played a leading role in developing and evaluating programs to improve the health of children, adolescents, and women, as well as programs in reproductive health care. Dr. Brindis is a professor at UCSF Medical School and Director of the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy and Director of the Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health.

This Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance spotlight is open to all and free of charge. YANA attendees are encouraged to bring friends and colleagues who are concerned about federal health care policy, and/or the proliferation of state initiatives that limit women’s access to family planning, maternity care, and abortion.
