A Conversation with YANA
Meaningful Aging: How working & volunteering in the nonprofit, cultural, and arts spaces can create purpose later in life
Join us for a conversation as part of Celebrate Service Week with Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance (YANA) members Lowell Perry, Jr. ’78 and Cornelia Emerson ’71, ’78 MA, M. Phil., ’80 Ph.D. to learn more about giving back in our later years. In this virtual interactive session, we will discuss how to create lives of purpose and meaning by working and volunteering in the nonprofit, cultural, and arts spaces, and by being connected to the YANA network. We will also address combating obstacles like ageism, and taking opportunities like cross-generational engagement for a more purposeful, healthy, and long life.
