Spotlight: Victor Hunt ’18, a native of Queens whose family experienced hardship and homelessness. With exceptional vision and grit, Victor launched a mission-driven online business, Astorian, from his dorm room at Yale that matches property managers with vetted contractors — including hundreds of affordable buildings — helping to reduce costs and stabilize rent increases in New York City.
Next Meeting: Wednesday, January 29th. Spotlight will feature Kate Reuther ’96, Executive Director of Uptown Stories, a Manhattan-based organization that inspires kids to discover and develop their inner voices by offering small-group writing workshops for children ages eight to fifteen, led by master teachers and professional authors.
