YANA Virtual Town Hall: April 2020
April 29, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Hope to see you online!
Looking forward to seeing many of you on Wednesday, April 29th!
It should come as no surprise that during a crisis, nonprofit organizations are often in the best position to provide assistance to those in critical need. During this pandemic it’s been incredibly gratifying to see our nonprofit community stepping up to help countless individuals, families, and small businesses access support, whether medical, financial, logistical, or emotional.
Please join us next Wednesday, April 29th at 6:30pm EDT for another YANA town hall featuring inspiring updates from a special group of proactive leaders each responding to COVID-19 in their unique way. Six alums and a Yale senior will describe how they and their organizations have remained committed to mission while developing innovative strategies for dealing with the crisis.
- Rachel Littman ‘91 (YANA Executive Director)
- Jennifer DaSilva ‘94 (Founder & Executive Director, Start Small Think Big)
- John Bacon ‘85 (Chief Development Officer, Metropolitan Museum of Art)
- Dasia Moore ‘18 (YANA Board Member, Board Chair, Go South)
- Miranda Massie ‘92 MA (Director, The Climate Museum)
- Marwan Safar Jalani ’20 (Former YANA-Dwight Hall Fellow; Rhodes Scholar)
Spotlight will feature Demi Knight Clark ‘19 SOM Global Executive Leadership Program, the inspirational founder and leader of She Built This City, a social venture that encourages girls and women to enter the construction trade through educational opportunities and skill-building workshops.
