Cara McClellan ’10, ’15 LAW is Assistant Counsel at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, the premier legal organization fighting for racial justice, where she works primarily on increasing equitable access to education and ending the criminalization of Black people. She is Founder of My Sister’s Keeper Collective a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that at-risk girls have access to a high-quality secondary education.

Monique Lin-Luse is Assistant Counsel at the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund. Monique has over ten years of advocacy, organizing, and educator experience in youth development, education access, social justice, and civil rights. She has focused her work on removing barriers to educational success for all students and ending the criminalization of youth of color.

Kate Reuther ’96, is Executive Director and Founder of Uptown Stories, a Manhattan-based organization that has inspired over 1,500 kids in Manhattan’s uptown neighborhoods to discover and develop their inner voices by offering small-group writing workshops for children ages eight to fifteen, led by master teachers and professional authors.

Madeline Kerner ’07 is CEO and Co-Founder of Matriculate whose mission is to empower high-achieving, low income high school students to make the leap to our nation’s best colleges. Their vision is that one day all the best students in America will have fair access to the best colleges, regardless of their socio-economic status or background.
