Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow:
Reflections & Learnings from the Northwest Response to COVID-19

Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow: Reflections and learnings from the Northwest response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the movements for greater environmental, social, and racial equity

More than two years into the ongoing global pandemics of COVID-19, systematic racism, and environmental degradation, the nonprofit and other mission-driven organizations in the Pacific Northwest have worked hard to turn adversity into opportunity. What has worked and what could we do better? What lessons can we all learn to inform the next challenge/s?

The new Yale Alumni Network Alliance Pacific Northwest Chapter invites you to join environmental conservation leader Nick Hardigg ’99 SOM, communications, engagement, and events professional and small business owner Emee Pumarega ‘95, and capacity builder and social justice advocate Allie Yee ’19 SOM to talk about how their organizations have adapted to the changing environment, provide practical tips for how to pivot when the unexpected happens and make predictions about how organizations may need to continue to evolve in the future. Sandra Medrano ‘15 will moderate the discussion. There will also be a live Q&A following the main panel discussion.
