The Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance New England – Fairfield County held a Roundtable on March 12th at the Westport Country Playhouse, focusing on The Nonprofit Leadership Search Process.
The 13 attendees were organization leaders and founders, board members, volunteers, consultants and advisors. Some were currently or recently working with organizations seeking to hire a President/CEO or other senior management. Some organizations were in a position to hire a search consultant, but a number were handling the search themselves, and wanted tips on ensuring a successful outcome.
Michael Negron, President and CEO of NEGRON Consulting, and his colleague Jodi Dowling, Executive Search and Recruiting Manager, TSNE MissionWorks led our Roundtable. Working in collaboration with TSNE MissionWorks (TSNE), NEGRON Consulting provides comprehensive executive and organizational transition management services.
Our gathering included networking and meeting other YANA members and their guests, drawn from the fields of Drama, Public Health, Education, Social Services and others, and drew attendees from New Jersey to Providence (who braved impending snow).
Contacts for the event were: Toddy Turrentine SOM ’80 and Michael Barker ’10
