Fertitta Family College of Medicine and current Pozen-Commonwealth Fund Fellow in Health Equity Leadership at Yale School of Management, discussed the problems with the current healthcare system in relation to the preference for medical professionals to enter high-earning specialties over general practice, as well as the inequity in healthcare and struggles faced by low-income and minority patients.
