Game-Changing Community Mobilization in Brownsville, Brooklyn, the third panel in the speaker series Victories in Fighting Poverty–Voices from the Front Lines in NYC, featured Yale SOM grad Emary Aronson, Chief Program Officer for Robin Hood Foundation; Mary Tobin, Director of the Brownsville Partnership for Community Solutions; and Madeline Sanders, Resource Specialist for the Brownsville Partnership and 30-year Brownsville resident. Interviewed by YANA member and yale.NYC board member Astrid Andre, the panelists highlighted the collaborative nature of their work and the importance of seeking community input at every stage of community development as key to their success. YANA member and Victories in Fighting Poverty Chair Alison Gardy, gave opening remarks. Morgan Lewis, known for its thriving pro bono global legal practice, graciously hosted.
