Volunteering Opportunity: Offender Aid and Restoration Wrapping Party
Help YANA DC help OAR! Offender Aid and Restoration, Inc. (OAR) is a community-based restorative justice organization that assists offenders in leading productive and responsible lives. Each year OAR collects holiday gifts for children of incarcerated and recently released parents and distributes the gifts to the children. Join us for OAR’s Wrapping Party to select gifts for the children, wrap them, and prepare them for delivery.
Join us after the Wrapping Party for a YANA social hour at Metro 29 Diner (4711 Lee Highway, Arlington).
RSVP is required. We will share the OAR RSVP link when it is available in November. If you would like to commit to a spot now, please email Lynn.
OAR will also need help picking up gifts and supplies on December 12. If you can help out, email Lynn.
