CommunityGrows cultivates healthy youth through growing gardens in low-income, diverse communities. We teach gardening, cooking, and healthy living to our youth, providing them with amazing outdoor experiences. Koshland Learning Garden is the true representation of a community space. Through community activism, neighbors activated a learning garden in Koshland Park in 1993.  For the last 24 years, neighbors, schools, and youth groups come to create a garden where the community can come together, learn, and relax.

Over 150 youth come to the garden each week to learn about environmental education.  Come out to help us maintain these beautiful and peaceful spaces for our youth!

What to bring: water, wear closed toed shoes, dress in layers for the SF microclimates.
